What are the characteristics of aluminum silicate wool?

Publish Time: 2024-09-05

Aluminum silicate wool refers to the fibers generated by blowing or spinning, which are gathered into bulk fibers by a cotton collector or a sedimentation device, also known as raw cotton fibers.

(1) High filtration accuracy, the diameter of the intercepted particles is between 0.005-0.001 microns, and it can effectively remove iron, manganese ions and organic impurities in water.

(2) Excellent temperature resistance, can be used for a long time at 120°C without deterioration, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 300°C.

(3) High mechanical strength and good chemical stability, can withstand repeated flushing and backwashing regeneration and still maintain good filtration performance.

(4) Strong tensile strength, not easy to break, and long service life.

(5) Light weight, easy to install and maintain, small footprint and save civil engineering investment costs.

(6) Strong adaptability to water quality, no strict requirements on various raw water turbidity, and can be applied to general pH range.

(7) Low price, economical and practical.

(8) Non-toxic and odorless, harmless to the human body.

(9) Anti-static function.

(10) High temperature resistance up to 200°C or above.
